Thread Breakers

(continuation to Thread-makers)

So needles we are and threads we consume...
and each thread around the world has its own consistency, colour, length and composition. So as needles we imagine that our bottoms are really sharp and pointed ends which if we could just use to cut ourselves loose from our needle's eye, we could definitely break free from our particular thread.

But fear we experience...
when we imagine that our pin-pointed tips could intrude permanently into our needle's eye possibly annihilating us, so imobile we stay.

But plastic we can be...
and we as gymnasts bend like agile wasps and bring our powerful bottoms atop our heads to be able to finely cut ourselves loose from the thread we by now have indentified very clearly.

So free-fall we do...
and it is not long before we encounter another thread in our paths that eventually reveals its receptive piece of pointed fiber that could function as a respite and safehaven for weary pin travellers.

And fearful we are by now...
so hence we comfortably agree to cooperate in the weaving of a new symbolic order that could potentially pacify and ameliorate any travel anxieties.

So acquiesce we do...
and realize that this novel thread does not provide instructions of how to operate within and without and around it.

So understand we must...
that this thread like any other is just different with varying dispositions that could be inviting or uninviting depending on any needle's will, participation and complacency.

So cut he does again...
and assimilates that there is no way out of this thread-bare existence, thus sees no other way out besides balancing once more into an ultimate gymnastic act of self-extinction of bent and circular incomprehension.

So observer he becomes...
and finally reaizes conscious that all pins, needles, filaments and other pin-pointed anatomies could turn themselves into acrobats, contortionists and stunts, and promptly act to sever themselves from every thread out there, and in the ensuing mayhem and chaos, could boldy and rigtheously avoid immediate reconection.

So ultimately...
all characters free-fall and concur around a comfortable meadow whose fertile ground suffices for everyone. And here they apprehend that a well-founded basis of common understanding is a much better and safer place to reside in than a loosely and diffuse set of suspended mid-air threads.
